A large statement piece inspired by an above average height preloved shop mannequin & some recycled ribbed jersey fabric, she is named after the Celtic goddess of trees & fertility.
Druantia is made of recycled jersey fabric over a preloved shop mannequin frame & set using Powertex Ivory & Bronze.
Her torso is covered in vine tendrils formed from Paperdeco & finished with Bister Patina & varnish to give the impression of weathered wood.
Her skirt transforms to a tree trunk & roots at the base, whilst reclaimed hessian forms the ground cover, littered with felt woodland flowers & fallen leaves in autumnal shades. More felt leaves intertwine her hair.
Suitable for indoor or year-round outdoor display. Please note that if displayed outdoors, some weathering may occur with age, adding interest to the patina.
