Alida, meaning 'small winged one' (Latin) sits upon her mushroom enjoying the sunshine.
Alida looks beautiful sitting in a low planted flower border or on a patio.
Inspired from cloth donated from an ink print artist, already coloured in shades of green & yellow, making this the perfect fabric for a fairy dress.
Alida is made of recycled jersey fabric over a wire frame & set using Powertex Green, as are her Paperdeco wings.
Her wings & hair are overbrushed to complement her dress.
The mushroom is also wrapped using recycled jersey fabric, set with Powertex Ivory & overbrushed in Bister Patina. The underside of the mushroom uses pleated jersey fabric & is overbrushed in brown to give a traditional mushroom effect.
Suitable for indoor or year-round outdoor display. Please note that if displayed outdoors, some weathering may occur with age, adding interest to the patina.
