Cordelia (Celtic meaning 'daughter of the sea') plays in the shallow water, leaning against a natural shell
Cordelia relaxes in shallow water draped over a giant shell.
Her body is wrapped in recycled jersey fabric in ivory finish Powertex, whilst her tail was set using the transparent Powertex resin pigmented with turquoise to compliment the breakfast room at The Stanley Hotel, Penzance where she now resides. Her tail is made using paper deco supported on a wire frame, giving fantastic texture which is further highlighted by the silver overbrushed finish.
Her long hair is sculpted from raffia in the ivory finish, overbrushed with Colortrix Terragreen to give a hint of mettalic green.
